The Research Group on Knowledge Management and Information Retrieval studies, designs, and evaluates methods aimed at solving problems within the areas of natural language processing, machine learning, and information retrieval. The goal is to develop intelligent tools to facilitate the extraction, refinement, and organization of knowledge across different domains. The main research areas include: contextualized information retrieval, information extraction, causal learning, and individualized inference.
