The objective of this group is to conduct research, development, and innovation in the areas of software testing and visualization testing. In both professional and personal contexts, an increasing number of decisions are being made based on the use of software—particularly software for information visualization. This growth is not only quantitative but also qualitative, as these decisions are becoming more critical and carry greater impact on society, the environment, and individuals. In this context, it is essential to develop new and improved methodologies and tools to ensure the proper functioning of these information systems.
Currently, the group is working on white-box testing for the object-oriented programming paradigm and black-box testing for visualization systems.
